14 Best Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtains That Will Transform Your Bathroom

A dolphin ocean shower curtain can bring an underwater scene to a bathroom, but the options differ in size, artwork, and whether they include matching accessories. My best overall pick is the Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches, a straightforward standard-size choice focused on the theme. For coordinated decor, the SOPIYRIO Modern Dolphin Waterproof Shower Curtain Set includes four pieces, while the LYFANS Colorful Dolphin Fish Shower Curtain offers a narrower 59-inch width for smaller spaces. The main tradeoff is between a simple curtain that is easier to fit and a multi-piece set that creates a more unified look but may include items you do not need. Read on for the full breakdown, fit advice, and recommendations by bathroom and buyer type.

Key Takeaways

• Standard 72 x 72-inch curtains appear throughout the lineup, making them the simplest starting point for many standard tubs; measure before choosing any of the 70-inch or 59-inch alternatives.
• Four-piece sets from SOPIYRIO and Yizheer, along with Yddsky‘s coordinated options, prioritize matching decor; they make more sense when you want accessories, not just a new curtain.
• The 59 x 72-inch LYFANS curtain is the narrowest full-height option listed, so it may suit a tighter shower opening but can leave more exposed space on a wider tub.
• Some choices include hooks, such as the Ocean Whale and Ocean Underwater World curtains, which can simplify setup; check the listing details for the precise included hardware and compatibility.
• Artwork varies as much as format: rainbow dolphins, sunset scenes, general ocean animals, and nautical imagery serve different decor goals, so choose the scene before assuming all dolphin prints will look alike.

More Details on Our Top Picks

1. Bonhause Ocean Animals Shower Curtain for Kids, 72 x 72 Inch

   Best Overall for Families

   View on Amazon

Bonhause earns my Best Overall spot for a family bathroom by pairing a standard 72 x 72-inch fit with waterproof, quick-drying polyester and a kid-friendly mix of dolphins, whales, fish, and turtles. Unlike the Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain, which is described as unlined and not water resistant, this one is meant to help keep splashes in the shower. Its machine-washable fabric also makes routine cleanup easier, while the included hooks let families hang it without sourcing a separate set. The tradeoff is that the plastic hooks may be less durable than metal alternatives, and the supplied size can vary by 1–2 cm from manual measurement. I’d choose it for practical daily use, not for a minimalist dolphin-only look.

   Pros:

   • Waterproof, quick-drying polyester is suited to containing shower spray.
   • Standard 72 x 72-inch dimensions fit many common tubs and shower stalls.
   • Machine-washable care supports easier cleanup.
   • Includes 12 hooks and has reinforced metal grommets.

   Cons:

   • Included plastic hooks may not hold up as well as metal hooks.
   • Manual measurement can produce a 1–2 cm size deviation.
   • The mix of sea creatures is less focused on dolphins than a dolphin-only design.

Best for: Families setting up a standard-size shower who want a washable, waterproof ocean-animal design and included hooks.

Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a dolphin-only or restrained design, or those who want sturdier metal hooks included.

   • Material:100% polyester
   • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches (183 x 183 cm)
   • Design:Dolphins, fish, whales, and turtles
   • Waterproof:Yes
   • Included:12 plastic hooks
   • Grommets:12 reinforced metal grommets
   • Care:Machine wash cold; tumble dry low; do not bleach
   Our verdict

“Choose Bonhause for a family shower that needs a washable, waterproof ocean scene more than a dolphin-only print.”

2. Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches

   Best for Decorative Flexibility

   View on Amazon

This pick puts the dolphin-and-ocean image first, with a blue design that can also serve as a tapestry, wall hanging, or decorative curtain. That flexibility sets it apart from the Bonhause Ocean Animals Shower Curtain, which is described as waterproof and better suited to containing shower spray. Here, the key compromise is explicit: the polyester is not water resistant, and the curtain is unlined. I would treat it as a decorative layer or use it with a separate liner rather than count on it alone for splash protection. Its 72 x 72-inch size and included white hooks make setup straightforward, but buyers wanting a wash-and-hang practical shower barrier have a stronger match in the Bonhause or Ocean Whale option.

   Pros:

   • Dolphin-and-ocean pattern keeps the theme focused.
   • Includes 12 white hooks for hanging.
   • Machine-washable care is listed.
   • Can be repurposed as a tapestry, wall hanging, or decorative curtain.

   Cons:

   • Not water resistant, so it may not contain shower spray by itself.
   • Unlined construction may require a separate liner for shower use.
   • Its decorative versatility does not make it as functional as waterproof options such as Bonhause.

Best for: Renters or decorators who want a blue dolphin scene that can move between a bathroom, wall, or other decorative use.

Not ideal for: Households that need a water-resistant curtain on its own or do not want to add a separate liner.

   • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches
   • Material:Polyester
   • Color:Blue
   • Pattern:Dolphin and ocean
   • Included:12 white hooks
   • Care:Machine wash cold; do not bleach
   • Weight:13.7 ounces
   • Hanging method:Grommet
   Our verdict

“Pick this curtain for a versatile dolphin display, but choose Bonhause or another waterproof option if splash control is the priority.”

3. SOPIYRIO Modern Dolphin Waterproof Shower Curtain Set, 4-Piece

   Best Complete Bathroom Set

   View on Amazon

SOPIYRIO is the most complete bathroom refresh in this group: the package pairs a waterproof, wipe-clean 72 x 72-inch curtain with a bath mat, U-shaped mat, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks. That makes it a different proposition from Bonhause, which focuses on a washable curtain rather than matching floor pieces. The curtain’s Oxford fabric is quick-drying and wipeable, but it is not machine washable, so cleanup takes a different routine. The coral fleece mats add a coordinated finish and have non-slip backing; however, they are best vacuumed or hand washed. I’d pick this set when matching the bathroom matters more than easy laundering. Buyers who mainly want a machine-washable curtain should favor Bonhause instead.

   Pros:

   • Includes a curtain, two mats, toilet lid cover, and 12 C-shaped hooks.
   • Waterproof, quick-drying curtain can be wiped clean.
   • Mats have non-slip backing.
   • Coordinated pieces create a more finished look than Bonhause’s curtain-only package.

   Cons:

   • Curtain is not machine washable and requires wipe-clean care.
   • Mats are best vacuumed or hand washed rather than machine washed.
   • The set adds pieces that may not fit every bathroom layout.

Best for: Buyers furnishing a bathroom who want a coordinated curtain, bath mats, toilet cover, and hooks in one set.

Not ideal for: People who want to machine-wash the full set or prefer to buy only a curtain without extra floor pieces.

   • Set contents:Shower curtain, U-shaped mat, toilet lid cover, bath mat, and 12 C-shaped hooks
   • Curtain dimensions:72 x 72 inches
   • U-shaped mat dimensions:17.3 x 14 inches
   • Toilet lid cover dimensions:13.4 x 17.7 inches
   • Bath mat dimensions:29.1 x 17.5 inches
   • Materials:Oxford fabric and coral fleece
   • Water resistance:Waterproof curtain
   • Care:Curtain: wipe clean; mats: vacuum or hand wash; not machine washable
   Our verdict

“Choose SOPIYRIO if you want coordinated bathroom accessories with the curtain and can accept hand-cleaning the mats.”

4. Yddsky Dolphin Bathroom Shower Curtain Set with Bath Mats and Toilet Cover

   Best Machine-Washable Matching Set

   View on Amazon

Yddsky is the stronger pick for buyers who want coordinated pieces with machine-washable care: its package includes a dolphin-print curtain, bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks. Compared with SOPIYRIO, which pairs a waterproof curtain with mats that are not recommended for machine washing, Yddsky lists machine washing for both curtain and mats. The memory-foam pieces are described as quick-drying and slip-resistant, though the available details do not settle the curtain’s exact material: the specs say polyester while the description also mentions PEVA. Its 70.8 x 70.8-inch curtain is slightly smaller than the standard 72 x 72-inch options, so measure before buying. This set suits buyers prioritizing matching accessories, not those needing a clearly specified fabric or exact standard dimensions.

   Pros:

   • Includes a curtain, bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks.
   • Machine-washable care is listed for the curtain and mats.
   • Memory-foam mats are described as quick-drying and slip-resistant.
   • Water-resistant curtain helps limit splashing.

   Cons:

   • Curtain measures 70.8 x 70.8 inches rather than the common 72 x 72 inches.
   • Product details conflict on curtain material, listing polyester and also mentioning PEVA.
   • The included mats and toilet cover may not suit every bathroom layout.

Best for: Buyers who want a coordinated dolphin bathroom set and value machine-washable curtain and mats.

Not ideal for: Shoppers needing an exact 72 x 72-inch curtain or clear, consistent material information before purchase.

   • Set includes:Shower curtain, bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks
   • Curtain dimensions:70.8 x 70.8 inches
   • Bath mat dimensions:29.5 x 17.7 inches
   • Toilet lid cover dimensions:17.7 x 13.8 inches
   • U-shaped rug dimensions:17.7 x 14.8 inches
   • Curtain material:Specs list 100% polyester; description also mentions PEVA
   • Mat material:Memory foam
   • Care:Machine washable
   Our verdict

“Choose Yddsky for a matching set with machine-washable mats, provided its smaller curtain dimensions and conflicting material details work for you.”

5. Ocean Whale Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches, with 12 Hooks

   Best Waterproof Ocean-Animal Alternative

   View on Amazon

This is my pick for buyers who want waterproof performance with a colorful, broader ocean scene. Its polyester curtain features whales, dolphins, turtles, and fish, making it closer to Bonhause than to the Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain’s more focused blue design. Both this option and Bonhause are waterproof and standard-sized, but this curtain specifies rust-proof metal grommets and offers hand or machine washing. The care tradeoff is that it must be line dried, unlike Bonhause’s listed low tumble-dry option. It includes 12 plastic hooks, so the hardware supplied is still less robust than the metal grommets themselves. Choose it when a varied sea-life print and splash protection matter more than a dolphin-only pattern or machine drying.

   Pros:

   • Waterproof polyester is designed to help contain shower spray.
   • Standard 72 x 72-inch size suits many common showers.
   • Rust-proof metal grommets provide reinforced hanging points.
   • Includes 12 plastic hooks and allows hand or machine washing.

   Cons:

   • No extra liner is included.
   • Must be line dried after washing.
   • The whale-and-sea-life pattern is less dolphin-focused than the Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain.

Best for: Shoppers who want a waterproof, standard-size curtain with dolphins among a colorful mix of ocean animals.

Not ideal for: Buyers who want a dolphin-only image, need a separate liner included, or rely on tumble drying.

   • Material:Polyester
   • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches
   • Pattern:Whales, dolphins, turtles, and fish
   • Water resistance:Waterproof
   • Top style:Grommet
   • Included components:12 plastic hooks
   • Care:Hand wash or machine wash in cold water; line dry
   • Package weight:15.52 ounces
   Our verdict

“Choose this option for a waterproof, varied ocean-animal print if line drying and a separate liner are acceptable.”

6. LYFANS Colorful Dolphin Fish Shower Curtain, Underwater World, 59 x 72 Inches

   Best for Smaller Shower Openings

   View on Amazon

The 59 x 72-inch cut makes this LYFANS curtain a useful pick when a standard-width curtain would bunch or crowd a narrower shower. Its dolphin-and-coral print adds a bright underwater theme, while waterproof polyester is suited to containing spray. Unlike the 70 x 70-inch Dolphin Ocean Beach curtain, this one is notably narrower, so measure the rod and opening before choosing it; it may leave less overlap at the sides in a wider tub. I also like that it arrives with 12 hooks and rust-resistant metal grommets, avoiding a separate hardware purchase. The listing has conflicting measurement details, though, so buyers who need an exact fit should verify the dimensions. Cold gentle-cycle washing is convenient, but line drying and the no-bleach instruction limit care flexibility.

   Pros:

   • Narrow 59-inch width can suit smaller shower openings
   • Waterproof polyester helps contain shower spray
   • Includes 12 hooks and rust-resistant metal grommets
   • Machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle

   Cons:

   • Conflicting measurement details make fit harder to confirm
   • Narrow width may provide less side coverage on wider tubs
   • Must be line dried and should not be bleached

Best for: People with narrower shower openings who want a colorful dolphin scene and included hanging hardware.

Not ideal for: Owners of wide tubs or anyone who needs confidently verified dimensions, since the listed measurements conflict and the curtain is only 59 inches wide.

   • Brand:LYFANS
   • Material:100% polyester
   • Dimensions:59 x 72 inches
   • Water resistance:Waterproof
   • Hanging hardware:12 rust-resistant metal grommets and 12 hooks
   • Care:Machine wash cold on gentle cycle; line dry; do not bleach
   Our verdict

“Choose this LYFANS curtain for a narrower shower and included metal-grommet hardware, but verify its dimensions before ordering.”

7. Dolphin Ocean Beach Polyester Shower Curtain, 70 x 70 Inches

   Best for Square Shower Rods

   View on Amazon

Among these options, the 70 x 70-inch square shape is the clearest reason to choose this curtain: it can suit showers where a taller, standard 72-inch drop is not needed. The dolphin, reef, and island artwork brings a beach setting rather than the rainbow-and-wave focus of the Accnicc Rainbow Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain. Waterproof polyester and machine washing make routine care straightforward, and the included 12 plastic hooks cover basic installation on most straight or curved rods. The tradeoff is that the listing specifies plastic hooks rather than the metal grommets supplied with LYFANS, and there is no liner included. Its 70-inch height may also fall short for buyers seeking the more common 72-inch drop, so compare the measurement with your tub and rod placement.

   Pros:

   • 70 x 70-inch square dimensions suit some shorter shower setups
   • Waterproof polyester is machine washable
   • Includes 12 plastic hooks
   • Designed to fit most straight or curved shower rods

   Cons:

   • No liner is included
   • Plastic hooks are less substantial than LYFANS’s rust-resistant metal grommets
   • The 70-inch height may not provide the coverage of a 72-inch curtain

Best for: Shoppers with a square or shorter shower setup who want beach-themed dolphin artwork and hooks included.

Not ideal for: Buyers needing a 72-inch curtain drop, metal hanging hardware, or a liner in the package.

   • Material:Polyester
   • Dimensions:70 x 70 inches
   • Water resistance:Waterproof
   • Pattern:Dolphin, coral reef, and coastal island
   • Hanging method:Grommet
   • Included components:12 plastic hooks
   • Care:Machine wash cold; hang to dry; do not bleach
   Our verdict

“Pick this beach-scene curtain if your shower suits a 70-inch square cut and you are comfortable supplying a liner separately.”

8. Accnicc Rainbow Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches

Best for a Bright Rainbow Accent

   View on Amazon

The rainbow above leaping dolphins gives this Accnicc curtain a more playful, high-color look than the reef-and-island artwork on the Dolphin Ocean Beach Polyester Shower Curtain. At 72 x 72 inches, it follows a familiar shower-curtain size, and the included 12 hooks make setup easier. Its polyester is described as water resistant and fade resistant, which suits a decorative curtain that will see regular bathroom moisture and washing. The key compromise is the semi-sheer, unlined fabric: it may let light through, but offers limited privacy compared with a heavier or separately lined option such as the unlined-but-waterproof Ocean Underwater World curtain paired with an added liner. Buyers should also note that this is water resistant, not described as waterproof. Machine washing is available, though the care instructions prohibit bleach.

   Pros:

   • Distinctive rainbow, dolphin, fish, and coral artwork
   • Standard 72 x 72-inch dimensions
   • Fade-resistant, water-resistant polyester
   • Includes 12 plastic hooks and is machine washable

   Cons:

   • Semi-sheer and unlined fabric may provide limited privacy
   • Water resistance is specified, not waterproofing
   • Bleach is not permitted in the care instructions

Best for: Households that want a vivid, whimsical dolphin-and-rainbow motif in a standard 72 x 72-inch size.

Not ideal for: People who need strong privacy or prefer a curtain explicitly described as waterproof rather than water resistant.

   • Material:100% polyester
   • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches
   • Weight:9.6 ounces
   • Color:Blue and white
   • Opacity:Semi-sheer
   • Water resistance:Water resistant
   • Hanging method and accessories:Grommet; 12 plastic hooks
   • Care:Machine wash; do not bleach; tumble dry
   Our verdict

“Choose Accnicc for a playful rainbow centerpiece and standard sizing, but add a liner if privacy or stronger splash protection matters.”

9. Ocean Underwater World Dolphin Shower Curtain with Hooks, 72 x 72 Inches

   Best for Splash Protection

   View on Amazon

For buyers prioritizing function alongside an ocean scene, this ZXMBF curtain stands out for its explicit waterproof polyester and quick-drying fabric. Its 72 x 72-inch format matches the Accnicc curtain, but the comparison matters: Accnicc is semi-sheer and only described as water resistant, while this option is unlined yet specified as waterproof. The print combines dolphins with tropical fish and coral, making it a fuller underwater scene than the Dolphin Ocean Beach Polyester Shower Curtain‘s coastal island composition. It also includes 12 plastic hooks. The tradeoff is that the unlined construction may still leave some buyers wanting a separate liner for added privacy or a second barrier. Care is straightforward with machine washing, but the curtain must not be tumble dried.

   Pros:

   • Waterproof polyester helps limit spray escaping the shower
   • Quick-drying fabric and machine-wash care
   • Includes 12 plastic hooks
   • 72 x 72-inch size with dolphins, tropical fish, and coral

   Cons:

   • Unlined fabric may call for a separate liner
   • Plastic hooks are included rather than metal hardware
   • Must not be tumble dried

Best for: Shoppers who want a standard-size dolphin curtain described as waterproof and quick drying, with hooks included.

Not ideal for: Anyone wanting a lined curtain, a non-plastic hook set, or tumble-dry convenience.

   • Brand:ZXMBF
   • Material:Polyester fabric
   • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches
   • Pattern:Dolphins, tropical fish, and coral
   • Water resistance:Waterproof
   • Lining:Unlined
   • Included components:Shower curtain and 12 plastic hooks
   • Care:Machine wash; do not tumble dry
   Our verdict

“Choose this curtain over Accnicc if waterproofing is the priority, provided an unlined design and air drying suit your bathroom routine.”

10. Yizheer Dolphin Sunset 4-Piece Shower Curtain Set

    Best Complete Bathroom Set

    View on Amazon

The Yizheer set is the most room-wide choice here: it pairs a dolphin sunset curtain with a bath mat, toilet lid cover, U-shaped rug, and 12 hooks. That makes it a better fit for someone coordinating several bathroom surfaces than the standalone Ocean Underwater World Dolphin Shower Curtain, which focuses on waterproofing and a 72 x 72-inch curtain. The set’s curtain is listed as 70.8 x 70.8 inches, despite the title suggesting a different size, and the description gives conflicting material information. Those inconsistencies make fit and fabric harder to confirm than the polyester details on the Accnicc curtain. The curtain is described as machine washable and fade resistant, while the mats are described as absorbent and quick drying. Choose it for the coordinated look, not for the most certain sizing or clearest materials information.

    Pros:

    • Includes curtain, bath mat, toilet lid cover, U-shaped rug, and 12 hooks
    • Coordinated dolphin sunset theme across multiple bathroom items
    • Curtain is described as machine washable and fade resistant
    • Mats are described as absorbent and quick drying

    Cons:

    • Curtain size is listed as 70.8 x 70.8 inches despite the title’s different size claim
    • Description gives conflicting curtain material information
    • Multi-piece set may include items buyers do not need

Best for: People furnishing a coordinated dolphin-themed bathroom who want a curtain, bath mat, toilet cover, U-shaped rug, and hooks together.

Not ideal for: Buyers who need a confirmed 72 x 72-inch curtain, clear material specifications, or a standalone curtain without extra floor pieces.

    • Brand:Yizheer
    • Set contents:Shower curtain, bath mat, toilet lid cover, U-shaped rug, and 12 hooks
    • Curtain dimensions:70.8 x 70.8 inches
    • Bath mat dimensions:29.5 x 17.7 inches
    • Toilet lid cover dimensions:17.7 x 13.8 inches
    • U-shaped rug dimensions:17.7 x 14.8 inches
    • Curtain material:Polyester listed; description also gives conflicting material information
    • Care:Machine wash; do not bleach
    • Package weight:0.74 kg
    Our verdict

“Pick Yizheer when a coordinated bathroom set matters more than verified curtain sizing or clear material details.”

11. Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches

    Best Standard-Size Pick

    View on Amazon

This Imirell curtain is the straightforward choice for shoppers who want a standard 72 x 72-inch fit and an ocean-dolphin print without adding bathroom accessories they may not need. Its waterproof polyester offers more water protection than the water-resistant Blue Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain, while machine-wash care gives it a practical cleanup option. The description also calls out fade-resistant colors, a useful detail for keeping the bright artwork looking lively through regular washing. Hooks are included, but a shower-curtain rod is not listed, so installation still depends on having one. Compared with the coordinated Yddsky set, this is a simpler, less bundled choice; its tradeoff is that it does not supply matching mats or rugs.

    Pros:

    • Standard 72 x 72-inch dimensions suit many shower and bathtub setups.
    • Waterproof polyester provides more direct water protection than water-resistant options.
    • Hooks are included, reducing the need to source hanging hardware separately.
    • Fade-resistant artwork and gentle machine-wash care support routine upkeep.

    Cons:

    • A shower-curtain rod is not included.
    • Care instructions prohibit bleach, limiting stain-treatment options.
    • It includes no matching bath mats or other coordinated accessories.

Best for: Shoppers with a standard-size tub or shower who want a waterproof dolphin curtain, included hooks, and no need for matching floor accessories.

Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a complete coordinated bathroom set or anyone whose shower requires a size other than 72 x 72 inches.

    • Brand:Imirell
    • Material:Polyester
    • Dimensions:72 x 72 inches
    • Pattern:Dolphin
    • Color:J-blue
    • Water resistance:Waterproof
    • Hanging method:Grommet
    • Included components:Hooks
    • Care:Machine wash cold on gentle cycle; do not bleach
    Our verdict

“Choose this Imirell curtain for a standard-size, waterproof dolphin design with hooks, but skip it if you want a full bathroom set.”

12. Blue Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain, 70 x 70 Inches

    Best Flexible-Care Pick

    View on Amazon

The Blue Ocean Dolphin curtain suits buyers who want a simple tropical print and flexibility to hang it alone or pair it with a liner. Its polyester fabric is listed as water resistant, rather than waterproof like the Imirell Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain, so shoppers who prioritize stronger stated water protection may prefer that alternative. At 70 x 70 inches, it is slightly smaller than the more common 72 x 72 format; check the shower opening before choosing it. Machine or hand washing gives it two care routes, while line drying means it needs more attention after laundering than a dryer-ready curtain. Hooks are included, though their quantity is unspecified, which makes the package less predictable than the HDESDIS curtain’s stated 12 hooks.

    Pros:

    • Can be used with a liner or on its own.
    • Water-resistant polyester helps limit splashes.
    • Machine or hand washing provides care flexibility.
    • Hooks are included.

    Cons:

    • Smaller 70 x 70-inch dimensions may leave a poor fit on some standard setups.
    • Water resistance is specified, not waterproof construction.
    • Line drying is required, and the included hook quantity is not specified.

Best for: Buyers with a shower that suits 70 x 70 inches who want a blue dolphin print and the option to use a liner or hang the curtain on its own.

Not ideal for: Shoppers who need a full 72 x 72-inch curtain, want waterproof rather than water-resistant fabric, or require a confirmed hook count.

    • Material:Polyester
    • Dimensions:70 x 70 inches
    • Color:Blue
    • Pattern:Dolphins
    • Theme:Ocean
    • Opacity:Blackout

13. HDESDIS Colorful Ocean Nautical Shower Curtain, 36 x 72 in

    Best for Narrow Stalls

    View on Amazon

At just 36 inches wide, this HDESDIS curtain serves a different purpose from the full-width Imirell Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain: it is made for narrower shower openings, not for replacing a standard 72-inch-wide curtain. Its colorful reef, fish, and dolphin print spreads the ocean theme beyond a single animal, while opaque fabric offers more privacy than a sheer-style option. The set includes 12 hooks, reinforced grommets, and a weighted hem; that hem can help the curtain hang steadier than lighter panels, though it cannot compensate for choosing the wrong width. Waterproof, machine-washable fabric adds practical appeal. The tradeoff is fit: measure carefully, and expect that light ironing or steaming may be needed to smooth wrinkles.

    Pros:

    • Narrow 36-inch width suits shower openings that do not need a full-width curtain.
    • Opaque fabric provides privacy.
    • Includes 12 hooks and reinforced grommets.
    • Weighted hem, waterproof fabric, and machine-wash care support everyday use.

    Cons:

    • Too narrow for many standard bathtub setups.
    • Wrinkles may need light ironing or steaming.
    • The colorful reef-and-fish artwork is busier than a simple dolphin-only design.

Best for: People with a narrow shower stall who want an opaque, colorful ocean print and a curtain package with a stated set of 12 hooks.

Not ideal for: Most buyers replacing a standard-width bathtub curtain, since its 36-inch width is much narrower than a 72-inch panel.

    • Brand:HDESDIS
    • Material:Polyester
    • Dimensions:36 in W x 72 in L
    • Color:Colorful Ocean
    • Pattern:Nautical coral reef, fish, and dolphin
    • Opacity:Opaque
    • Included:1 shower curtain and 12 hooks
    • Features:Weighted hem, fade resistant, waterproof, wrinkle free
    • Care:Machine washable
    Our verdict

“Choose this HDESDIS panel for a narrow stall and a vivid, opaque ocean scene, but measure before buying because it is only 36 inches wide.”

14. Yddsky Blue Ocean Dolphin 4-Piece Shower Curtain Set

    Best Coordinated Set

    View on Amazon

Rather than selling a curtain alone, Yddsky bundles a 70.8-inch square dolphin curtain with a bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks. That makes it the strongest fit here for someone refreshing several bathroom surfaces at once. The memory-foam mats have textured, water-absorbing surfaces, adding a floor-comfort component that the Imirell Ocean Dolphin Shower Curtain does not provide. The bundle also brings extra care and fit questions: the curtain is slightly smaller than a 72 x 72-inch panel, and the product data itself notes that the listed dimensions differ from another stated size. The mats may need soaking before use to address wrinkles, and the set instructions say not to bleach. Buyers who only need a curtain may find the additional pieces unnecessary.

    Pros:

    • Includes a curtain, bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, and 12 hooks.
    • Coordinated blue ocean-dolphin design ties the bathroom pieces together.
    • Memory-foam mats have textured, water-absorbing surfaces.
    • Curtain and mats are machine washable.

    Cons:

    • Curtain measures 70.8 x 70.8 inches, slightly smaller than a 72 x 72-inch standard.
    • Mats may need soaking before use to remove wrinkles.
    • Do not bleach; the extra set pieces also add laundry and care to manage.

Best for: Shoppers furnishing a coordinated blue ocean-dolphin bathroom who want matching floor pieces and hooks included with the curtain.

Not ideal for: Buyers who only need a shower curtain, have a setup requiring exactly 72 x 72 inches, or prefer not to manage care for several textile pieces.

    • Brand:Yddsky
    • Set contents:Shower curtain, bath mat, U-shaped rug, toilet lid cover, 12 hooks
    • Number of pieces:4
    • Curtain dimensions:70.8 x 70.8 inches
    • Bath mat dimensions:29.5 x 17.7 inches
    • U-shaped rug dimensions:17.7 x 14.8 inches
    • Toilet lid cover dimensions:17.7 x 13.8 inches
    • Materials:Polyester curtain; memory-foam mats
    • Care:Machine washable; do not bleach
    Our verdict

“Choose Yddsky if you want a coordinated bathroom refresh in one set, but pick a curtain-only option if you do not need the mats and toilet cover.”

How We Picked

I compared these 14 options on the factors that matter when a themed curtain has to work as bathroom decor and as a practical enclosure: listed dimensions, whether the product is a single curtain or a set, stated material or waterproof features, included hooks, and the visual direction of the design. I gave preference to options with a clear use case and specifications that help shoppers judge fit or setup. Because the supplied product information does not establish fabric weight, opacity, liner requirements, wash instructions, or print durability, I do not treat those qualities as proven.

The order reflects usefulness to the broadest range of buyers first, then more specialized strengths. A standard-size curtain with a focused dolphin-ocean theme ranks ahead of a highly specific size or decorative treatment as a general recommendation; coordinated sets rank higher for buyers who want a matched room, while compact or unusually themed options serve narrower needs. Before ordering, verify the current listing’s dimensions, contents, care directions, and whether a separate liner is recommended.

Factors to Consider When Choosing Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain

Choosing between these curtains is less about finding the most elaborate ocean print and more about matching the curtain to your shower opening, decorating plans, and maintenance expectations. I would settle the fit and format questions first, then compare artwork and included extras.

Measure the Shower Opening, Not Just the Old Curtain

Measure the rod height and the width the curtain must cover, including any overlap needed at the sides. A listed 72-inch width is common in this lineup, but the 70-inch and 59-inch choices can leave different amounts of coverage on a standard tub. A narrower curtain may be useful for a compact enclosure, yet it can expose gaps if the rod spans a wider area. Height matters too: the 72-inch-long options are not automatically right for a higher rod or a low-mounted tub. Do not assume a product labeled standard size will fit every bathroom; compare the full measurements with your opening before placing an order.

Choose a Single Curtain or a Coordinated Set

A single curtain is the more direct choice when the bathroom already has rugs, towels, or other accessories that you want to keep. Four-piece sets can give a room a coordinated look, but the extra pieces may not suit every floor plan or match existing fixtures. Check exactly what each set contains rather than relying on the word “set,” since the listed products differ in their named accessories. Think about storage and laundering as well: more matching pieces mean more items to clean and keep together. Pay for a set when you genuinely want the coordinated pieces, not simply because the package has a larger count.

Pick Artwork That Fits the Room’s Existing Colors

Dolphin designs range from colorful underwater scenes to rainbow motifs and sunset imagery, while some options lean toward general ocean animals or nautical themes. Look at the dominant colors in your towels, wall paint, and bath mat before choosing a print. A high-contrast or multicolor curtain can become the room’s focal point, but it may compete with patterned decor. A more restrained ocean scene is easier to pair with accessories you already own. Product names alone do not reveal how a print will appear in your bathroom, so inspect the listing images and confirm the design shown matches the version selected.

Treat Waterproof Claims and Liners as Separate Questions

A listing that describes a curtain as waterproof may address water resistance, but it does not by itself tell you whether the curtain needs a separate liner. Material, coating, care instructions, and the intended installation all affect how you should use and maintain it. Check the product details for liner guidance and avoid assuming every polyester or printed curtain behaves the same way. A liner can help keep spray contained, but it adds another item to wash or replace. If easy upkeep is a priority, confirm the care directions before choosing based on appearance alone.

Check What Comes in the Package and How It Hangs

Some products explicitly list hooks, while others focus on the curtain or a multi-piece bathroom set. Included hooks can simplify installation, but they may not match your rod or preferred hanging style. Verify the number of holes, hook type, and package contents in the live product details before relying on an inclusion mentioned in a title. If you already have compatible hooks, extras may add little value; if you are furnishing a bathroom from scratch, included hardware can reduce separate purchases. Also confirm whether the listed dimensions refer to the curtain itself rather than an assembled display.

Spend More Only for a Feature You Will Use

A coordinated set, distinctive sunset print, or included hooks can justify choosing one option over a plain curtain when that feature solves a real need. Those extras do not prove better fabric, longer life, or easier cleaning, so do not treat a fuller package as a quality guarantee. For a first themed bathroom update, a standard-size single curtain keeps the decision simple and leaves other decor choices open. Buyers replacing several matching accessories may value a set more than shoppers changing only the shower curtain. Compare the actual specifications and contents rather than using visual complexity as a stand-in for build quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a 70 x 70-inch dolphin curtain fit a shower that currently uses a 72 x 72-inch curtain?

It may fit, but the smaller width and height can reduce side coverage and change how close the hem sits to the tub. Measure your existing curtain and the shower opening rather than relying on the label “standard.” If your current curtain already leaves gaps, choosing a smaller size is likely to make that problem more noticeable. A 72 x 72-inch option is the closer match based on listed dimensions, though rod height and tub layout still matter. Check the product measurements and allow for your preferred overlap before ordering.

Is a waterproof dolphin shower curtain enough on its own, or do I need a liner?

The product name or a waterproof claim is not enough to answer that for every bathroom. Check the specific listing for material details, liner recommendations, and care instructions, since those can differ among these options. A separate liner may help manage spray and keep the outer curtain from getting as wet, but it adds another layer to clean. If you prefer a single layer, confirm that the curtain is intended for direct shower use. Do not assume that a printed design or a waterproof label guarantees a particular level of water containment.

Are the four-piece dolphin shower curtain sets a better choice than buying only a curtain?

They are a better match for buyers who want coordinated bathroom pieces and will use the accessories included in the package. If you already own rugs or covers that work well, a set may create unnecessary duplicates or clash with the room. Confirm the exact contents of each listing because “four-piece” does not tell you which items are included by itself. Also check whether the accessory sizes suit your bathroom layout. For a single update or a first themed curtain, a curtain-only option is often the simpler choice.

Which option makes sense for a narrow shower opening?

The LYFANS curtain is listed at 59 x 72 inches, making it the narrowest full-height curtain in this roundup. That smaller width may be useful if a wider curtain bunches up in a compact shower, but it could leave exposed space on a wider tub. Measure the opening and check where the curtain needs to overlap before choosing it. The 70-inch-wide choices offer a middle ground, while 72-inch-wide options provide more coverage. Match the actual dimensions to your shower instead of selecting by theme alone.

How can I tell whether the ocean print will coordinate with my bathroom?

Start with the colors that already occupy the room, especially towels, bath mats, and wall finishes. Rainbow and colorful underwater designs tend to introduce more hues, while a sunset or blue-ocean theme points the decor in a more specific direction. Product titles can hint at the style but may not show the exact balance of colors, so inspect the listing images for the selected version. If your bathroom already has busy patterns, a less visually crowded scene may be easier to pair. Choose the artwork that works with items you plan to keep, not only the one that looks appealing by itself.

Conclusion

For most shoppers, I would start with the Dolphin Ocean Shower Curtain, 72 x 72 Inches as the best overall direction: it pairs the core theme with a familiar listed size and keeps the choice focused. The best value is a simple standard-size curtain that fits your opening and supplies the artwork you want without accessories you will not use; compare the Ocean Dolphin and Blue Ocean Dolphin listings by their exact details. For a best premium-style pick, choose a coordinated four-piece set such as SOPIYRIO or Yizheer when the matching pieces matter to your room, while treating the extra contents—not an unverified quality claim—as the reason to select it. The best option for beginners is a straightforward 72 x 72-inch curtain, since it avoids deciding among multiple accessories. For a specific need, consider LYFANS for a narrower opening or a curtain listing that includes hooks when convenient setup is the priority; measure first and verify the package details before buying.
